Monday morning. Nice & sunny, at the moment. It looks like it's going to be a mixed sort of day. I'm cooking up the fleishig Pesach leftovers for soup and the house is beginning to smell like turkey. Turkey broth beansanrice for lunch! Yum!

The sinks are kashered, the counters are kashered or covered, the last two burners on the stove are kashering themselves. Candlelighting is 6:59, and the turkey will be wanted an hour after that at the earliest. It's 1:15 now. What remains to be done? Well, all the cooking, definitely. Pesach is coming. Sticking my fingers in my ears and singing lalalalala is not going to slow it down any. I need to:

96% humidity is too much for me. I am now going to go light a nice got fire and clear the floor of the basement in preparation for mopping. If I can finish that before David gets home, I can play Spore. Once David gets home, I can't play Spore until I've finished the floor and made cookies.

I just finished observing Earth Hour. It was lovely. Adam & David went to bed, so I had the house to myself. I nuked myself some dinner, lit an oil lamp, hit the main circuit breaker, and read for an hour. I got 71 pages into The Hollow On the Hill by Christopher Milne, which I am absolutely loving.
